The working principle of warp knitting machine

The warp knitting machine is mainly composed of a knitting mechanism, a bar traverse mechanism, a let-off mechanism, a pulling and winding mechanism and a transmission mechanism.

①The knitting mechanism includes needle bed, bar, sinker bed and pressure plate, which are generally driven by cam or eccentric connecting rod. Cams are often used in warp knitting machines with low speed and complex motion laws of loop-forming parts. Eccentric connecting rods are widely used in high-speed warp knitting machines because of their smooth transmission, easy processing, and less wear and noise during high-speed operation.

②The bar traverse mechanism makes the bar traverse according to the requirements of the knitted fabric in the process of forming a circle, and the warp yarns are placed on the needles, so as to weave a knitted fabric with a certain organizational structure. There are usually two types: flower plate type and cam type. The flower plate type mechanism connects the flower plates of a certain shape and size to form a flower plate chain according to the requirements of the knitted fabric structure, so that the comb bar is moved laterally, which is suitable for the weave pattern of the more complex organization, and the pattern change is more convenient. In the cam-type mechanism, the cam is designed according to the transverse movement rule of the bar required by the knitted fabric, and the transmission is relatively stable, which can adapt to higher knitting speed.

③The let-off mechanism unwinds the warp on the warp beam and sends it into the knitting area. There are two types of negative and positive. In the passive mechanism, the warp beam is pulled by the warp tension to send out the warp yarn, and no special warp beam transmission device is required. The positive let-off mechanism adopts a special transmission device to make the warp shaft rotate to send out the warp, and there are tension induction type and line speed induction type. The tension-sensing mechanism controls the speed of the warp beam by sensing the warp tension through the tension rod. The linear speed induction mechanism controls the speed of the warp beam by sensing the speed of the warp yarn through the speed measuring device. This type of mechanism sends out the warp at a predetermined linear speed and can work stably under high-speed operation conditions, so it is widely used in high-speed warp knitting machines.

④ The function of the pulling and winding mechanism is to pull the fabric out of the weaving area at a predetermined speed and wind it into a cloth roll.
