The origin of fishing net weaving machinery

There are longitudinal mesh looms and horizontal mesh looms. The longitudinal mesh loom was invented in the 1830s. It does not distinguish between warp and weft, and only moves left and right with one mesh wire to weave a single live knot mesh along the longitudinal axis of the diamond mesh.
